Quick answer
A trust only protects what it was set up to protect if it is administered properly. Our Trust Administration Service maintains trust records, monitors the trustee's obligations under the trust deed and the Trustee Act 1949, coordinates distributions where applicable, liaises with trustees, beneficiaries, auditors and legal advisers, and provides periodic reporting and documentation updates so the trust is governed properly.

Overview
Many trusts are set up carefully and then left alone. Years later no one can find the resolutions, distributions were made informally, assets were added without proper transfers, and the trust's protection is challenged exactly when it is needed.
Trustees have real duties: to act within the deed, keep proper accounts and records, treat beneficiaries fairly and make decisions properly. Administration is the discipline that turns those duties into a routine — minutes and resolutions for decisions, a register of trust assets, records of every distribution, and documents updated when beneficiaries, trustees or assets change.
We run that routine with the trustee: maintaining records, preparing decisions and distributions, coordinating auditors and legal advisers, and reporting periodically so the settlor's intentions continue to be followed.
