Quick answer

Pusat Bertauliah accreditation must be renewed before it expires. A lapsed accreditation suspends the centre's authority to conduct competency-based training and issue SKM certification. Renewal reviews the centre's compliance standing, registered trainers (TM002) and assessors, quality and programme documentation, and whether facilities and equipment still meet NOSS requirements.

Overview

Accreditation is time-limited. When it lapses, the centre loses its authority to conduct competency-based training and issue SKM — students in progress are affected and new intakes stop.

Renewal is a fresh look at the centre. JPK expects registered trainers (TM002) and assessors still in place, quality management and programme documents kept up to date, and facilities and equipment that continue to meet the NOSS requirements for each programme.

Staff turnover is the usual problem: a trainer or assessor leaves and is not replaced with a registered one. We check the people, documents and facilities early enough to fix gaps before the renewal is submitted.
