ID CHANNEL SDN. BHD. (Company No. 200901032573 / 875684-U), trading as ID Channel Design, is a 100% Malaysian-owned interior design and design-build firm based in Kuala Lumpur. Incorporated in 2009, it delivers interior design, decoration, fit-out and brand-identity work for homes and businesses.
As a registered CIDB contractor since 2015, the company wanted to take on larger projects — which meant moving up the CIDB grades. But the upgrade and renewal rules had changed, and the requirements (director certification, training points, qualified personnel) were not straightforward. That is where ONEKEY BIZ came in.
Moving up the CIDB grades is more than paperwork. Three requirements stood in the way.
The client didn't know how to renew or upgrade the licence, or which steps came first — and the rules had recently changed.
To renew, the director first needs an SPKK, and staff must complete CIDB Pusat Latihan courses to earn enough MATA CCD points.
A higher grade like G6 requires suitably degree-qualified technical personnel on the company's books — which the client did not yet have.
We guided the director through the SPKK (government-works) certification — the recognised company officer required before the licence can be upgraded or renewed.
We arranged the CIDB Pusat Latihan (PLCCD) courses to earn the MATA CCD points needed to renew, and sourced suitably degree-qualified technical personnel for the higher grade.
With every requirement in place, we took the company through the CIDB upgrade — from G3 up to G5, then to Grade G6 across categories B, CE and ME.

ID CHANNEL SDN. BHD. now holds CIDB Grade G6 across categories B (B04), CE (CE21) and ME (M15) — authorising projects of up to RM10 million — together with a valid SPKK naming its director as the recognised company officer for government works.

We mapped exactly what a G6 grade requires against the firm's existing G3 — the certifications, points and personnel still missing.
→The director obtained the SPKK competency certificate, and the required CCD training points were earned to qualify for the upgrade.
→With every requirement in place, the G3 to G6 upgrade application was submitted to CIDB on the client's behalf.
→CIDB approved the upgrade — the firm jumped from G3 straight to Grade G6, unlocking far larger projects.
